1. Introduction
MyMedia Intelligence Pty Ltd is a digital-first, remote-based organisation that delivers media monitoring services across Western Australia. While our physical risk profile is low compared to traditional industries, we remain fully committed to ensuring the physical and psychological health, safety, and wellbeing of all employees, contractors, and clients.
This WHS Business Plan outlines our safety objectives, key performance targets, and strategies to maintain and continuously improve a safe working environment.
2. WHS Commitment Statement
Management at MyMedia is committed to:
• Providing a safe and healthy workplace for all staff, clients, and contractors;
• Meeting or exceeding the obligations outlined in relevant WHS legislation (including WA WHS Act 2020 and Regulations 2022);
• Allocating sufficient resources to identify and manage workplace hazards, with a focus on risk prevention;
• Embedding a culture of safety awareness and personal responsibility across our team;
• Reviewing and updating our WHS practices annually.
3. Safety Objectives (FY25/26)
1. Zero Lost Time Injuries (LTIs) - Maintain zero LTIs by continuing to work in safe, ergonomically sound home and client settings.
2. 100% completion of WHS induction and refresher training - Ensure that all staff complete a WHS induction on commencement and a refresher course annually.
3. Annual review of WHS Policy and procedures - Conduct a management review and staff consultation to assess and improve WHS documentation and practices.
4. Improve mental health and wellbeing awareness - Introduce quarterly wellbeing check-ins and training for all employees on mental health and stress management.
5. Maintain digital ergonomics compliance - Ensure that all staff conduct annual digital workstation assessments to ensure compliance with ergonomic best practices.

Given the nature of our work, primary WHS risks include:
• Ergonomic hazards: related to poor workstation setup or prolonged screen time;
• Mental health risks: from isolation, stress, or digital fatigue;
• Cyber and data safety: indirectly tied to WHS via psychological safety and operational stress.
Risk controls implemented:
• Home office ergonomic checklist and equipment support;
• Paid mental health days and access to counselling resources;
• Secure digital work environment with training on information safety;
• Flexible work hours to support work-life balance.
6. Consultation and Communication
We maintain open and regular communication with staff via:
• Monthly team check-ins (including WHS standing items);
• Anonymous suggestion channels;
• One-on-one health and wellbeing reviews each quarter;
• WHS bulletins issued with any changes to policy or risk profiles.
7. Performance Monitoring and Review
WHS performance is monitored via:
• Induction and training completion rates;
• Annual workstation and risk assessment results;
• Staff satisfaction and wellness surveys;
• Incident reports and corrective action logs (if applicable).
All WHS metrics are reviewed annually by management, and improvements are implemented as needed.
8. Review and Approval
This WHS Business Plan is reviewed and approved annually by the Managing Director and forms part of our compliance and safety framework when delivering services under public or private sector contracts.
